Manhood Riding Club is based on the Manhood peninsula in West Sussex. We are a riding club that generally focuses on showing, in particular in-hand showing. Throughout the year we hold regular jumping and dressage competitions which cater for all ages and abilities. We hold approximately 3 shows a year, including our very popular Open Summer Show. We also have Fun Rides and social events. In 2019 we celebrated 50 years as a riding club.
Our main aim is for everyone to be able to come along to any of our events, enjoy themselves and have fun with their horse/pony!

Club Closure
The MRC will close in the summer 2027. The current committee will continue to run the club until this time but no new memberships are being taken. There will be a few mini shows in 2027 to use up the remainig rosettes and these will be advertised on the events page.
Public Liability Insurance to attend our shows
With immediate effect, if you wish to enter any of our shows, you will be required to have public liability insurance for your horse/pony. You will need to confirm this before you can take part and understand that any accident or injury caused by your horse/pony is your responsibility.
Flu Vaccinations for Events
Manhood Riding Club recommends that all horses and ponies are vaccinated against flu. As a precaution, please bring your own water buckets & equipment and do not allow your horse/pony to be in contact with others where possible.
